Hi.
Why Netbook got slow Clock Speed?
review at shop, salesman says "Clock Speed not important, most important is RAM. More RAM more good". Its true?

Its a throw away and i have a Asus Eee. Works well sitting in the backyard and checking email and using basic programs. Mine is maxed out with 2gig. 60 gig hd and works for me for MS Office, internet etc. its light weight, small and good for traveling.
max out the mem.

Netbooks have a slower clock speed because they're designed for lightweight, low power computing. Adding more RAM will not magically speed up ANY computer. The only time more RAM will speed up a computer is if you are running enough apps to the point that the OS has to swap running apps from RAM to the HDD. At that point, if you add additional RAM so that the OS doesn't need to swap, you will see a significant speed increase.

understood.

another question.
why many netbook only have 10" screen display?
My father was looking 12" and i just found asus 1215B on lower price.

industry convention.
I dont think that there are any actual standards to say what separates a "Netbook" from a small laptop, but most often 10 and 11,5 inch screens will have tag of netbook, 12 or larger is laptop. Its all just in the name.
