Sorry for my first post requesting help, but I am on my last straw here. I keep getting this little pop up window from the system tray telling me that a network cable is unplugged. I have gone over all of the connections. BTW, I have DSL. I have replaced the phone line from the wall jack to the modem, the ethernet cable from the modem to the puter, and redone the connections at the interface box outside. Today, I replaced the NIC, and it actually got worse. I took it apart again, and moded the NIC to another PCI slot, and it is still doing it. I still have a connection, but it does slow down at times. What can I do?
