Network Hard Drive

I have a WD network hard drive hook up to my main computer using a RJ45 so my other 2 computer can see it. I disconnected the drive from my main computer by accident. I put in the software that came with the drive into my main computer but still can't see it from my main computer? How can I re connect it?

You should just be able to place that on your router so it's locally reachable.

Did you make a share from your PC so that other PCs could access it?

Router is in the other room. It was working before I accidently disconnected it. I'm trying to see it on the main computer. I can see it on the other computers if the hard is attach to the other computers if I hook it up on them. I'm just trying to see it on my main computer..

Are you able to reach the address you assigned to it via other protocols like HTTPS or ping?

No, I can't see it. I didn't assigned an address to it.
