network, i need helP!!

there is a wireless wifi called meeko by my mouse.. its says thats it unsecured and when i try to connect to it it says windows was unable to connect to network.. and my friend can connect with his ipod touch. .how can i connect to it?/

Don't connect to networks you're not authorized to use? That seems the best option.
