-Dell Inspiron 1440
-Dual Booted with Windows 7 64 Bit and Windows XP 32 Bit
-Dell 1397 Wireless G Mini-Card (Enabled on both Operating Systems with most recent drivers 32 Bit and 64 Bit)
-Integrated network connector 10/100 LAN (RJ45) (Disabled On Both Operating Systems)
-Belkin F5D7234-4 Wireless G Router (WPA/WPA2-Personal(PSK) and TKIP+AES)
-Static IP Address set up on both Operating Systems, without any conflict.
What the problem is, is that on occasion when booting Windows 7 the Network Icon on the taskbar will display a yellow dot over a grayed out bar type meter, rather than the normal white one. Yet I am still connected to the internet.
When starting windows XP Professional SP 3, the Network Icon will show a yellow dot moving left to right, stating that's it's acquiring network address, but I can still get online. It does that the entire time I'm using the computer. Occasionally it will start up fine.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
