Network Issue

So when i do anything on the internet ill randomly get disconnected.

So then i can connect to the network, me wireless router but then it says no internet connection.

I troubleshoot problems and then the problems found are "The default gateway is not available" then its fixed...

but every so often the problem reoccurs.

2 other computers on the network are not experiencing this problem

running windows 7

What Security software are you running?
Try disabling or uninstalling it.
Especially if it is McAfees.

Im running AVG Free, i tried, no luck

Most likely you need to update your lan driver.

i updated the driver for the Wireless adapter is that what your talking about, because that did not fix it the problem persisted

So you are connected wirelessly to the router on this machine? If so, and the other wireless pc's have no problems then it has to be your wireless adapter. If you are using a usb adapter then you need to buy a pci wireless adapter with an antenna which will work a lot better. I've also bought something like this and they work great and have excellent range.

Then maybe the adapter is starting to fail on you.

that could be true, it used to work perfectly, how do i check if it has failed?

Use a different adapter, might have to buy a different one.
