Network Problem

I have a problem with my home network. I am running a linksys wireless g router with two hard wired computers (not using the wireless capibility). The computers are a gateway and a dell. I can use the internet on both computers. The problem is, the dell sees the network fine and sees the gateway (pings fine too) and all of its shared documents. The gateway on the other hand does not see the dell and the ping fails. What should I do?

Make sure that the Dell is on when you try to ping it from the Gateway.

Can you transfer a file on the Dells hdd to the Gateway using the Gateway's network places, or network neighborhood, or whatever?

yes I can transfer files from the dell to the gateway but not vice versa

if you r using a antivirus or firewall program in the dell then u can't access from other PC on ur network.
