Network/Sharing help

I foolishly started to tinker with stuff I didn't know. I was curious what my Network Sharing/Discovery settings should be. I'm not familiar at all with this and should not have messed with it.

I have one CPU for my wireless network. CPU is just used for rec/internet surfing.

Turn on/off Items like:

Network Discovery
File Sharing
Public Folder Sharing
Printer Sharing
Password protected Sharing
Media Sharing

Also, should my wireless network be private or public in network settings?

Basically...what would you do!

Network discovery isn't really important, but if you've that CPU set up wirelessly to your network, it'll always connect to your wireless first, it'll search for others if your network not found, i keep it on just in case.

file sharing, printer sharing, media sharing, i only connect to my home network, if it's not on i stay without internet so i've file sharing on so i can access videos and music anywhere, but if you are using other's network than off or for your home network on if you've any file in that CPU.

for wireless network if it's protected it should be fine, but mine is private so my sisters or other new PC need to set up to my network or internet they've to put in my wireless network name (it'll show as unknown network but stronge signal since it's in my house) and than my password i feel safer that way.
