Network spies!

Hi - can anyone help me find out if the administrator (my ex!) of my home PC is able to access my files and data on my computer? As the administrator of the home network, is he able to spy on me - and if so how can I check?

to be safe you could reinstall windows... but unless he wants some sort of info on you or something, does he really have the motive to spy on you.... you could check scanning your computer with an antivirus program, the best are available to download as a free trial for a month, they should be able to detect any unauthorised access (this is unless you don;t have an antivirus now) otherwise look through a list of programs that you have running in task management or list of programs installed in the control panel/unistall. you need to look for something you don;t use or have not heard about, then just search it in google and it will give you info on the program.
any more question please do ask, i am sure others on the forum will be able to help more productively than what i did...
