networking

I purchased a laptop off of ebay, and i want to change some settings, but i wont all me because with its previous owner, it was on a network, and it says that the administrator has disabled this and that. How do i get around that? I have no dirver/boot cd, so i probaly shouldn't reformat....ideas?

Get copy of an OS and redo the machine (you should prolly do that regardless)


What kind of settings are you referring to? (os or system)
