Two days ago TrendMicro froze in the middle of a disk scan, and even through TaskManager and other programs I couldn't terminate it's process or even stop the scan. This morning I noticed my computer was extremely slow, so I opened TaskManager again and noticed my RAM was at 94%. I checked processes and TrendMicro was using almost 70% of my RAM. I rebooted my computer and disabled TrendMicro and everything is a lot better now.
 
Just uninstall and reinstall it and see what happens. I think paid antivirus is a joke anyway.

Agreed! I've been using Trend Micro Worry Free for 4 years on my computers and not a problem. And I even ran it on really old P4 and Athlon 64 machines with XP and a low amount of RAM (1 or 2GB) OK too.
