Is AMD just trying to use up all it's 90nm wafers? the new 5400, 6000, and 6400's are all using 90nm.
are they just pushing the 2x1mb L2 cache to get some profit out of their old tech? i noticed a bit better power on the 6000s (89 vs 125 watts)
AMD probably still has 90nm fabs, they're trying to cut down on capital expenditures so they're probably trying to stick with a fairly cheap, easy manufacturing tech that produce higher yields for a little longer. Or it could be that they're simply clearing out the stock on whatever 90nm CPUs they have left.

ya there is a 65nm 6000+ also.... i have one .really not to bad overclocks real well to. i got 3.5 easy even though its 3.1 stock not to bad for an AMD chip really and its like 70 bucks cant beat it!
