New brand to watch...

I'd prefer not to get an S3, since i've heard from reviews that it can be very incompatible with some games, especially older ones.

But the price is nice :)
 
The three reviews were pretty good. But, don't know if I would go with an unproven card. But heck may be worth trying and if it doesn't work out, send it back.
 
looks promising... they just need to maintain a constant presence in the market in order to get compatsbility with software and good driver support never hurts
 
Never know, this little company can be the next GPU fortune 500 business.. :)

Wouldn't that be great to have more series of GPU's to choose from :D
 
well back in the day s3 were a good brand so its nice to see them making a come back. It would be could to have another major brand to compare with and also maybe content with Nvidia and Ati.
 
*nods* I remember when they were one of the best. I had loads of cards from them from older computers too. I still got one, actually. My Number9 card is an S3 chipset, if I remember correctly...

If the card was cheaper, I'd actually try it out...
 
My integrated graphics is from S3. Runs fine, but craps out on complicated screensavers. Starcraft runs OK. If I were building a budget system, I might look at this.
 
It would be good to see more brands out there. Its a tough choice, buying a video card, I think it would be good to have more of a range to choose from.
