Could some one please check what I've chosen to make sure its all compatible and that I've chosen some good parts. I'm mainly concerned that I'm not sure of teh PSU I've chosen is any good and that the graphics card I've chosen will be powerful enough to play most games at a decent setting.

Thanks a lot to anyone who replies.

Cheers, salman.

I also could not find any information about the output amps on the PSU. As for the video card it should be able to get you playing most games. You will not be able to max games out but It should be fine to play them at medium to low setting.

I will go to ebuyer instead.
If you place a order for £30, you will get £10 off with google checkout....
I will tends to place all the order seperately.....

Thanks a lot for the replies everyone.

GCR will the PSU you've chosen be able to run an 8600 comfortably?

dasiymtc I've chosen to buy from microdirect as i live within driving distance from them so i can save on the postage and a good friend of mine gets a special discount from em, so i save even more.

As for the GPU would there be that much of a difference between the GT and the GTS as £400 was my mate's absolute top end of his budget and even then he said £400 could be too much.

I am thinking instead of an e6320 i could save him money by going with an e4300, but im not sure if it will be powerful enough for gaming. Also how well does the e4300 OC? Oh yeah and one more thing how come the e4xx series all have an 800mhz fsb instead of 1066mhz like the e6xx series, does it make much of a performance difference, will it limit how much i can OC.

Heres the link for an e4300:

Thanks for all the help.

Thanks for your reply Froboy, thats exactly what i was thinking of doing, by getting my friend a cheaper CPU i would be able to get him a better GPU. But for some reason I just don't feel sure that the e4300 is a good investment as it is the lowest line of the C2duos how long will it be able to run all upcoming and current games comfortably, even when I have over clocked it. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Cheers salman.

Considering it's not uncommon to hit 3 Ghz on stock according to the reviews on newegg it should last for a while. I think after I'm going to upgrade to a wolfdale or yorkfield processor(new intel ones) so longevity is not a priority to me.
