Hey, guys so I'm back to build another rig for a friend but the budget is $500 and this is what I have so far. Please tell me if something is not compatible and recommendations about parts. This rig will only be for video streaming and the basics. Here is what I got together.

Looks good, except for the Triple Channel RAM kit.

Get 2 sticks or 4 sticks, otherwise the memory will
only run in Single Channel.

An athlon ii x3 will probably be cheaper and better performing, x4 about the same, few bucks more way better performance

Tri-channel kit ddr3 isn't optimized with that board; i like OCZ gold but its pricier, there's gotta be a g.skill dual channel kit for a good price (i dont know cause I dont use them)

I prefer Western Digital over Seagate - just had way better reliability experience with them

The onboard video won't blow anyone away, but it's got great connectivity so any monitor will connect

Only thing with the budget is you're over $400 without taxes or shipping (by my quick count, not really added up...) and there's no case or OS.

To keep the price down, and since it's just for routine web/video, i'd go Athlon ii x2, 2 x 2gb Kingston Value DDR3, Western Digital Blue 250gb Sata II, a half decent case with PSU included, Wireless Card, DVD burner, and the same motherboard, with XP Media Center or Preferably Win7 64
