New build £1000 - Check please

Change out the HDD for a Samsung F3 1TB. I've never heard of that brand of power supply though. It looks decent but to be safe I'd stick to something better known. Perhaps an XFX, Silverstone, Corsair, or Antec one.

Everything else solid though.

Pretty sure the Dark Pro is a good one. The warranty is 3 yrs door-to-door and 5 yrs total.

GPU - upgrade to GTX 570

I read a review that said the particular WD Black SATA III was the fastest type of HDD available. My first build used one of those F1 spinpoint things and it broke within 6 months :/

Been using a WD Blue for a while and recently put a WD black in, really great HDD

Looks good, but Gainward/Palit are not known for their quality customer support if you need an RMA, they'll point you to where you bought the card from, which means tough luck if you lose your receipt.

Good Starting Point

very good starting point for a mid range build, personal pref would be to stick with western digital hard drives, they may not always be the fastest in every test but reliabilty there generally very good drives, other than that everything looks good.
