New Build Advice...

I'm looking to build a decent system that can run BF2 as well as some other games with high settings. I'm looking at upgradeabilty and cost with a budget of no more than $625.00 to include shipping. I'd like your feedback on what I've chosen thus far, as well as some alternate advice on other products that I might have overlooked.

That looks like a very nice setup, but I would look into DDR2-800 memory, since it supports it.

And if you can wait until later this month, you could get an AMD X2 3800+ for around $170.

I thought about the Pentium D, but DC CPU's don't have much of an affect on games that are currently out right now. In fact, from what I've read, a good P4 (3.0 800MhZ) will out perform Pentium D for FPS. So why not the P4 then, right? Well, I've seen too much out there that supports the AMD chip as being better and faster for gaming. I would seriously consider the Pentium D (I've always been an Intel guy) if I could find a decent mobo that would support upgrades.

The Mobo you selected is nice, but won't it be a dinosaur pretty quick with that RAM and the fact that it only supports 2GB max?
