Yeah your i7 is like that. It has 8 threads but 4 cores. Regardless, the 3570K will be faster than your current i7.

Try to get a 3570K if you can, adds the option for overclocking. Board is good.

Ok almost ordered just the 3570, Got the 3570K for 20 dollars more, Im clueless on how to overclock CPU's only familiar with GPU overclocking.

But im sure you will help me with that when the time comes :)

So you've got the 3570K now? Basically it's very easy, but it does take some time getting a configuration which works well. You need to start low, aim high. :)

You'll also need an aftermarket cooler for overclocking but I wouldn't a cooler until you want to start overclocking it.

And should i look at core clock and boost clock

This one is 941 and 1019 boost clock. Or will they all overclock the same

get whichever has the best cooler if you are going to overclock it. It is fast enough stock that you should not need to overclock it at all.

Ended up just going WIth the Evga GTX 680 SC w/backplate i posted.
