OK guys, I'm ready to do my 3rd gaming build. Here is what I'm thinking for price and performance any suggestions are alway appreciated. I was tryhing to keep the build around 1200.00 U.S., but as you can see I went over. I can live with it....... Games played World Of Tanks, future games Mech Warrior.

No reason, maybe go home version. How's everything else. Pro is only 119.00 right now so I figure I'd go with that with promo code from NE.

Nice build, just a few things.

If you don't mind spending a bit more on the board here's one I'd get http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0386363 but the ASUS one you picked would still be fine anyway, just this Gigabyte is a better board.

SSD suggestions - yep the 830 is certainly a good one. There's others too such as the Crucial M4 and the SanDisk Extreme. 120GB should be enough.

That 520W power supply is good; but you may benefit from a higher wattage in just in case the future you decide to get anything else. 520W will run a 670, but not two or more. If it was me I'd go for this power supply instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096 620W should easily run one or if you wanted to run two think about a 700-800W unit.

Other than that, all good stuff IMO. Do try to buy it one place though, makes things easier.

The HDD is 109 @ NE.
If you need to use the memory slot closest to the cpu, that tall Vengeance will restrict installing a fan on that side of the Hyper 212+/Evo.

I was set on the Gigabyte board, then back and fourth and did some research and did find some issue awhile back on asus boards. I think I'll stick with asus, my last two boards were asus and had 0 issues. So what do you think about the ssd, samsung or crucial? As for the psu I had to order yesturday from newegg for there promo...... I don't plan on adding another card. I'm buying from NE and Micro, they're both local to me in So. Cal. Thanks for the suggestions.....:good:

Yeah, I put in a promo code for the hdd for 109. As for the vengeance will it not work?

I'm pretty sure the Samsung 830 is faster than the M4 but really both are very fast. I've got the M4 myself, great drive. I'd get whichever is cheaper.

Not if you plan on using tyhat nearest slot, or putting a fan on that side of the Hyper/other air coolers. GSkill is great! and Ripjaws isn't LP but is short enough to work. Or there are many LP types. Unless your ocing the heck out of your memory heat won't be an issue.

Have you checked NE combos? Do you get their Eblasts?
The mb seems to have a lot of PCI slots and lacking in caps and mofset coolers.

Since your getting Asus Z77 you'll be able to use Fan Xpert 2. Pretty cool little app that you can set up a profile for all your case specific fans and their locations, including PWM. You can even name each fan. I wish they had it for AMD.

edit: If you have that $50 mb/cpu combo going on at MC, might be hard to beat at NE.

We'll thanks for the heads up, I'll get the gskill to make sure I have no issues. Yes I get the eblasts and promos. And MC is hard to beat on there mobo/cpu combo's. I wanted to spend 1000, now I'm at 1300 possibly 1400 for this said and done......

OK.
I realized that when I saw the Pro for 119 in the ad.
Well, removing 600 for gpu/os/case leaves about 600 from where you wanted to be, for the rest of it. Lets see what we can do about that mb.
Are you in love with the case?

Here's a better mb combo with a fast reliable 128gb ssd. Comparing r/w specs on ssd's won't translate into something big that you'll see in performance or on your screen. This ssd wont disappoint.

Excellent memory with 8-8-8 timings. Could save 10 with 9-9-9. Plus, the color matches :)

The promo for Seasonic 520 is over. Still a good choice. Could go with the semi mod version of it, or the SS 620w. Here's one that's made by SS, has 4 more 12v amps than 520w and has a rebate.

This is a good HDD as well. Saves $20 with the 1yr warranty.

After adding everything else in your OP these changes keeps it right around your original 1200. Even if you don't change to all these other parts, the mb/ssd is worth keeping imo.

Thanks for the suggestions. Here is what I bought already, when it was on sale.

Memory

Ordered wrong memory, but hope it won't be a problem

PSU

DVD

Still need everything else. As for the Mobo and CPU I plan on getting from MC, becasue they have a great deal on combo deals.

Here are the mobo comparissons on MC which one do you think I should get? I'm not opposed to Gig. or Asrock but just feel I should go with Asus....

I don't no why the link doesn't work. Maybe it won't save my compare chart.

Looks like the Asus P8Z77-V LK and Gigabyte UD3H have about the same specs. And the Asus P8Z77-V LE and Gigabyte UD5H have the same specs. according to this compare sheet.
