OK so I have everything on, my PC turns on and everything is going. The only problem I'm having is now nothing shows up on the screen...... does it matter that I'm using a hdmi to my TV for setting everything up?
You usually have to go into the bios and choose default video output to hdmi. So thats why you would have to hook up vga/dvi to regular monitor first. Is the hdmi from the video card or motherboard?
There is a possibility that the board is running the original bios which doesn't support that processor. Have you tried building the motherboard outside of the case on a piece of cardboard?
Yes I did, but I flashed the bios then tried to install windows 10 then nothing again. Black screen. Now I can't get back into my bios or install windows 10...... I'm starting to think the motherboard is faulty
Are you using the video card or using the onboard video? You do have the monitor plugged into the video card when it was plugged in right? You would be surprised how many noobies will plug it into the motherboard output.
