I have finished my build an went to install the OS. The monitor had visuals but when i restarted the computer there seems to be no signal going to my monitor so it enters power save mode. The only thing i altered was what disk drive ges in what order for booting.
Anyone have any idea why it ran with no hitches and now it has no video output.

No idea? Im rather concerned about this. Im hoping the worst is i need to buy another motherboard but i would like to find out any other options first.

do you have enough juice in your power supply?
have you tried installing another gpx card?
in bios have you tried reloading optimized defaults?
could it be a ram issue?

1) List your specs and power supply specs.
2) Try using onboard GFX.
3) Take the battery out or use the CMOS Reset Jumper
4) Power up with one stick of memory at a time.

I will have to get the spec a little later. But i think the code that comes up on the motherboard is for booting the ram if that is of any help

Take out one stick at a time. A dead stick can result in a blank screen.

I miss those case speaker beeping days :(

I dont know how you would like the specs posted but here my stuff

There is also a cheap dvd burner and a dvd drive. I'm not positive on the memory and hardrive. If it is wrong the memory is 800 instead of 667.

I hope thats enough info

I will have to try the sticks. There were rather cheap. At first it seems like there is a burst of power to the monitor and it begins to start, but fades and it goes back to power save mode. Could it also be the PSU?

Could be that it supplies just enough power at first, then overloads...
