New Build Help

Ok I have all the parts for my new computer, I went to install all of them and turn it on and got no power. I have the 24 pin and the 8 pin connectors to the Mobo, connected the power button connectors and all the other connections and no luck.

My setup is
Gigabyte 790X Mobo
Antec 650W. PSU
Phenom II X4 940B.E CPU
Dual Radeon HD 4850 Graphics
Lite-On Blu-ray player
640GB HDD

Do you have the graphics cards power plugged in?
Is the Ram fully inserted into the motherboard? (the little clips at the ends of the sticks will click)

The ram locked down in when I inserted them, even without hooking the graphic cards up, the cpu should still run.

Hook up the graphics card's power.

Is the switch on the back of the PSU on?

Yes that is on to. I hit the power button and nothing happens.

Test the PSU by unplugging everything except for fans and lights and stick a paperclip into the #14 and #15 pins:

EDIT: They're color coded somewhat.

Ok so I plug that into the connector coming from the psu. Could I test it with a amp meter.

the test with the connectors worked, my fans turned on.

Ok new update, I was messing around with it this morning, I took my motherboard out of the case and went to turn it on and it worked, I turned it off, put it back in the case and tryed to turn it on and nothing happened, am I grounding out the motherboard.
