New Build - Help!

I'm thinking of making a new PC. Nothing especially hardcore, though I'd like the new i7 to be present. I use my PC for: Gaming, Photoshop, heavy multitasking. I'm looking to spend £500-£600.

I'm carrying over a few components from the old one:
OCZ 600w PSU
DVD burner
Hard drive
Radeon 4850 (For now saving for better card)
Win 7 (64 bit)
Speakers
Monitor
Mouse etc

Here's what I've got my eye on:

Processor:

It looks a bit overkill to me though. I currently don't need Sli/Xfire support. Suggestions please.

Suggestions also needed on case. I'm looking for mid tower this is one of the smallest I found. (Space is a slight issue).

If you are only going to be using dual channel memory, you don't need a socket 1366 system. The only reason to choose 1366 over 1156 is for the triple channel memory that Bloomfield has to offer.

If you aren't going to be running multiple video cards, then you can save just over £50 by going for:

instead with the same memory you chose, or, alternatively, keep the set up you initially had, but swap the memory for:

to utilise the triple channel support, however that is, as you can see, a bit extra onto your budget.
