The harddrive is unusable (ide) there are many refurb sata hdds in the price range on new egg. Sound card is not necessary its no better than integrated. Amd cpu and intel board, no, only need 4gb ram, you need to start fresh. And power supply is deactivaated.

OK just a few things.

Firstly are you going to have some sort of dedicated graphics card?

Secondly, that power supply is just junk, get something like this instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026&Tpk=cx430 that will be enough to power that system.

Thirdly, spend less on the RAM and don't get a sound card. Get this RAM instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428, drop the sound card all together, and then spend more on your motherboard. Biostar aren't great, but something like this would be good http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157319 or maybe this if you want to spend a bit less http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157305 - those boards will work with the AMD FX-4100 processor you wanted.

You need a get a SATA hard drive to use, IDE is slow and old and no modern boards support it.

What is this PC going to be used for? If just for browsing, only get 4GB of RAM and maybe put the money you save on the RAM towards a better case or something?

Well if you're going to be using that graphics card you're going to need a much better power supply than that. Take a look into the likes of the Corsair CX 500 or CX 600.

You do need a decent SATA hard drive.
