How does that setup look?
 
get a real power supply, since those that come with cases are cheaply made can even fry your components, get a sata hdd/optical drive and get a 7600gs at least if no a 7600gt.
 
The problem here is you want to run cad. A 7300 will do it, but you might have problems with rotating the perspective, it might be slow and jerky. Also it could take quite a while to render the frame.

You might want to step up a bit to a 7800 or even a ATI 1950. Just make sure that whatever card you pick, that it will run Opengl drivers. . But there might be some vista versions of some cad programs that will run the newer drivers.

The powersupply (psu) that comes with that case is a very generic part. You might have it work for years, but then again it might fail the first time you plug it in.

I really doubt you need an SLI mother board, but that is up to you. Most people here agree that SLI is not worth it.


How much are wanting to spend on your system? We might be able to help you pick some better parts.
 
Try to get a better graphics card and powersupply. Aim for at least a 7600GS, which costs like $65 after MIR. And as for a powersupply, look at Ceewi's PSU recommendations list.
 
If you want a SLI board, i suggest the 680i chipset. The 650 will run at a maximum of x8/x8 in SLI mode, the 680 however can utilize full x16/x16 speed
