New build, Need help!!!

I just finished building a new computer. I've triple checked that everything is installed correctly. But there is no video. I've tried my motherboard's on board video and also my graphic card, but nothing. When the computer starts it gives one short beep. Any suggestions???
 
You got the 4/8 pin CPU power connector in? CPU fan plugged in? All the standoffs under the board in the right places?
 
Actually it started working now. I'm thinking the monitor might have a short in it. So I'll have to replace it. Thanks everyone :)
