new build no boot.

just put this build together and now i get one beep.and the dram lite stays on solid red.also not monitor activity.my specs are as follows.
motherboard.asus 970 pro gaming/aura
cpu.fx6300 black edition
ram.corsair vengeance 1600mhz 2x8gb
power supply.corsair 650w bronze
gpu.hd4870 2gb gddr5.
ive tried the ram in all combinations to no avail.ive reseated everything.fans all come on and it goes thru the led self check ok.i am assuming that the dram lite is in the upper right of the motherboard?any help would be appreciated.by the way,the memory is on the list of supported for this board.
edit.my old eyes arent so good anymore,or ever were for that matter.lol.the lite in question is the vga lite.im thinking my old card may have calved.thoughts?

yes,one short beep.and yes all 9 standoffs are in the right places.couldnt try the card in the other pcie slot as there was no room.being as this is a pretty old card i was leaning towards failure.thing is i think it is actually posting considering the one short beep,just cant see it.i wanted new card anyways,so i think i will get one this week and see what happens.will post with results.
