With Windows 7 its around $1300. That's okay but I was really thinking more like $1100-1200.

Edit: By the way, its only intensive use will be gaming.

Get yourself a good PSU with overpower, and yes i recommend the corsair 850 for your system. Especially as a gamer with a groovy graphic card. The box needs and demand power.

You're gonna need a power supply, by reworking a few areas, you can get windows as well as a power supply into the build and still stay around $1300:

750W seems kind of low for that kind of system. I'd play it safe and go for 800 at least.

750W is pretty much overkill for a single 5870, a good 750W will easily drive an i7 and two 5870's, let alone a single one.

Well, i made a mistake there and forgot to factor the GPU in when posting...just edited my post. But what i was meaning to say is that version of the 5850 you have picked out isnt extremely worth it since a 5870 is only $40 or so more, while you can get a 5850 for quite a bit less.

ATI GPUs consume less power than the Nvidia GPUs
and dont go with the true black as since its jst a cosmetic upgrade you can save money by going for the normal true 120

PSU calculators arent worth salt IMO.
