The new flight simulator is making me want to build a new PC. I've not done one in a while as you can see by my specs below.. umm.. I'm looking spend between £1k-£1.5k so I want a decent build. I've had a look on eBuyer at a few components but wanted some advice from you guys & see what you come up with. I've got a monitor so the budget is purely for tower, cpu, gpu, psw, ssd, ram etc. I probably won't get a hdd as its too old technology. Preferably SSD.

Grateful for any responses :)

I can give you my personal two cents:
1. Right now amd is giving Intel a run for their money both in cost and performance
2.16gb ram is becoming the norm (though 8 might do for now, I'd rathet futureproof a bit)
Can't really comment on the latest gpu's yet but ideally (to state the obvious :)) that should be the best piece of your gaming rig

AMD? Didn’t think of that tbh.
Yeah I may do 4x 16gb tbh just to future proof it.
Yeah graphics will be the biggest purchase tbh.

Youtube channel (either linus tech tips or tech quickie) had some reviews on AMDs latest cpus, for your budget it might be the best bang for your buck
