I am going to need a second computer for my computer repair shop.

Currently running a Intel dual core 3.0 proccessor with 8gb of ddr2 Ram Windows 7 FWIW.

Its done well for me but I am finding myself working on several hard drives at one time and need to process them faster. Time is money.

Looking at this set up.

What are your thoughts?

Intel Core i7-960 Bloomfield 3.2GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache

1366 cpu socket is dead standard.

if i were you i'd just grab the i5-2500k instead and find a similar mobo with 1155 support to be future friendly

Whats your budget camel lips?

I take it its only the Cpu,Mobo and ram you need as your going to use the other parts from your old pc?

What hard drives you got in your system currently? It could be them that's slow!
