So $800 build for my father. He currently uses a 3200+ Athlon single-core so this will be a fun upgrade for him.
Now remember the keyword here is BUDGET of 800. That means we spend no more then that on initial purchase

Heatsink *throw your thoughts here*
I was thinking of my Xigmatek S1283 but it would angle it funny...just looking for the good one between high-end and low-end.
On the HS I am thinking 3.2ghz-3.4ghz overclock for now it will be easy to achieve with these new Phenoms...it will allow max FPS in his current game and will leave me room to increase when he needs it.
Total price is $774.94 shipped before rebates.
Now we are not relying on the rebates here to spend more now.
The money from rebates will go into his 22 monitor fund.
