New build up and running :D

Just built my new system, it's humming by my side as I type...using it of course :D

I'm downloading 3D Mark 06 right not to really test it out. For those who don't know, it's a brand new mobo, new 7800GT, and new HD. Oddly enough, I still had a rather fresh install of XP on the new HD(I used it about twice before I went to get a new board) and the OS booted right up. I just had to obviously install a few different drivers.

The board is very nice. The packaging was very high quality. The board looks really great, and even has a few blue LEDs on it :D I shall post some pics after I'm sure it all works right :)

I thought about waiting for that, but since I already had most the crap, I just stuck with 939. I'll probably just do as I did with my last mobo and max it out(X2 4800 or whatever's fastest) and just use that for a few years.

I ran BurnInTest(not sure how good it is, just the first one I found) and the 3DMark06 Demo(with audio and all) at the same time though the first demo and it did flawlessly. Any other tests I should perform to check that this machine's a good one?

Oh yeah, after the run, my CPU was at 45*C, and 7800 was at 50*C. I'm currently running open case as I'm not totally done with only my rear 120mm fan going.

The Vdimm is kind of high for some reason. These boards are notorious for having some high voltages, so maybe this is the problem... Need For Speed Most Wanted will reset on me, but so far everything else has been great...

So yeah, I like how it's doing so far. It seems to be a very nice board. Probably one of thie highest quality boards I've ever used(build quality) The layout is wonderful except for the power connections. They are very close to the fans so I'm going to strap the wires away from them.

As for OCing, I dont plan to right now, but you never know...

*edit*
And I thought this would have the same soundcard as my old one, but the Epox sounds a HELL of a lot better than my AN8 did! Much clearer and less distortion, espcially when using the nVidia EQ.

I was having a few random restarts in NFS Most Wanted and FEAR. I exchanged my power supply but they kept occuring. I then remembered I lowered the voltages in the BIOS because I read these boards always overvolt some things. I just finished a 13 minute run of NFS(Demo, the road-block stage) and it never locked up. OH PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE work now :D Do you people have any idea how annoying and upsetting it is to have a new computer not work right, epsically one made as much for gamming as this beast!?
