New Build Working BUT.......

I installed an OLD version of Win7 and everything works just fine. Problem is, is that it tells me it does not have the driver for the (what you plug the internet cable into). I thought Windows CDs had all the drivers for everything. Is it because it's so old???? Windows runs just can't get on the internet, which works fine as everyone else in the house is on the net.

Question, if I buy a brand new Win 8.1, should it have the driver I need??

No. Windows doesn't automatically have all drivers. You need to go to your motherboard manufacturers support site and download the ethernet driver onto a flashdrive, then install it.
