New Build

The wife is looking for a new computer for her business. There will be 2 systems and the only real things they'll be running is office and quickbooks? Would it be worth it to build one or just to buy a Dell, HP or whatever? If it would be better to build one what would your suggestions be? Unlimited budget btw.

Also looking into online storage. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I thought there used to be a sticky with suggested builds at various budgets. Is it gone?

Thanks,

I would build it yourself...nothing like the satisfaction of building your own. :) ,for what shes wanting to do this should be more that enough. :)

For those applications, $500 pre-build machine can do, but she could feel the machine a bit slow within 3-4 years. However, you could build a higher end pc for $800 - 1000 such that could last longer.

Nevakonaza proposed a sweet build. It's best to build a system because you get exactly what you want (no need to spend lots of money to get a pc with a big HDD and GPU you won't use) You get better quality parts and you avoid all the third party bloat ware.

i don't think that you will actually need an external graphics card. I built one for a shop and the integrated graphics on sandy bridge are actually quite good. Rated 5.1 on the Windows Experience index, just for an idea. Just my 2 cents
