Hey, guys. I'm working on putting together a build for under $400, and I think I got it. All this is from newegg.
Motherboard

I picked this one because it's a microATX, it will fit in the microATX cases, and I'll probably be bringing it back and forth to and from a friends house for parties and such. It doesn't have an HDMI port, but the video card will. Also, it has the 6 gb/s SATA ports, and LGA1155 socket which is probably the most common processor port.
Processor

My only prerequisites were that it be Intel Sandy Bridge technology, and at least 3 gHz. This is the cheapest, and is easily upgradable in the future.
Video Card

I was looking for something at a low price point with at least 1 gb of vram.
RAM

Again, I was looking for 240 pin, DDR3 at 1333mhz, and at 8 gbs. This was the cheapest from a reputable manufacturer.
Hard Drive

500 Gbs is plenty for me. I have a laptop that I'll use for daily stuff, as this computer will be solely for gaming and what not. I figure that should be plenty of space. I like the price point, but I'm wondering whether I might go for a smaller drive with a larger cache, or whether the high RPMs and transfer speed will make up for it.
Disk Drive

And a cheap drive is all I need.
Power Supply

I really only need 270watts (acorrding to new egg's calculator), and this one was reviewed rather well.
Case

I like the handle, and while the power button seems to be frail, at $20, I can just order 2 and replace it if/when it happens.
Any thoughts would be great. I'm not planning on doing anything great and powerful on this, but I would like to play most games at at least 25fps. Guidance and wisdom would be great, as this is my first build.
