New Build

Hey guys:
I am looking at building my second computer this winter, and am having trouble deciding which way to go, as well as an interesting question dealing with GPUs. First of all Ivy Bridge v. Sandy Bridge E, which of course if dual v. quad channel and also true 16x16 PCI lanes rather than 16x8. I was looking at the 3820 for 2011 and 3770K for 1155 (both with Asus Pro boards). The GPU question is that I just had to buy a new Asus 7770, because my old 4850 gave up the ghost a few months ago, from the Egg for about $130 a and am wondering if I should get another 7770 and run them in crossfire with both on 16 lane PCI, or get something like a 7850ish card. Of course that all changes if I go with the 1155 socket anyway. Just wondering if you all had any thoughts.

shopping list I like so far:
Corsair 850TX
Intel 3820
Asus P9X79 PRO or Sabertooth (undecided)
XFX 7870 Double D Ghz edition/ or Asus 7770 CF
G Skill Ripjaws Z 4 x 4GB 2133 (Cas 9)
OCZ 120GB Vertex 3

if you plan to upgrade in the future, go with 2011, people will say that 3770k is faster...but thats the highest chip for 1155...the 3820 is the entry level 2011 chip... With ivy-bridge e coming you can eventually upgrade to that, just get yourself a nice cooler for the cpu, id suggest the h-series corsair coolers, they have all the hardware to install on the 2011 socket easy. Id play the gpu thing by ear, see how the 7770 handles things, if it struggles a little, grab a second, they apparently are good for xFire applications.
