:)first, id like to say hi. im currently working on my first computer build. i have an msi raptor case with 2 case fans. my question is where do i connect all of my fans. ive connected my cpu fan to the cpu fan header. i have a power fan header, which im not sure what it is for, and i have 3 chassis fan headers. my rear fan has a 3 pin header and a molex. my front fan has a male molex and a female molex but thats it. can i/should i connect both chassis fans via the molex connectors and then hook the little 3 pin up to the motherboard? if so to which header?

im using the asrock 970 extreme 4 motherboard.

also, should i just plug the fans into the psu? there is also a connector coming from the case that has vdd/d+/d-/gnd marked on it. where does that go? does it matter if i use 4 pin or 8 pin cpu power connector?last question: the psu has what looks like a 4 pin connector for a header on the cable that goes to the molex connector. what do i do with that? thanks for the help. i hope this isnt too many q's.

Dont plug into the PSU, unless you have to. I have a case that does exactly the same thing. You plug the molex from the front fan into the molex from the back fan. Than plug the fan header from the back fan into the mobo. Thats how I did it, try it out.

small detail

ok. thanks. btw, the vdd/d+/d-/gnd connector is coming from the card reader and not the case as i said before. but i still dont know what to plug that to.
