New card not working...

I just got an ASUS 7900GTX video card. I installed it in my computer, turned it on, and nothing came on the monitor. The fan was spinning, and every other part of my computer was working. I put my old card back in, and its working fine. What is the problem? Im thinking its the power supply, but I just bought this supply and the guy at the store said its fine. Its got 2 12v rails at 15 and 16 amps.

Whats wrong?
 
disable onboard video before plugging monitor into new card. go to integrated devices/hardware and disable onboard vga

cmos setup, use onboard video access the bios menu you have to hit a button different with each manufacturer. delete, f1, f10,f12
 
Im in the cmos now and I cant find where to turn off the onboard graphics. I found a setting that asks for the primary display, and its set to the PCIE already.
 
When you try and run your computer with the new GPU, what happens? Do you hear any BIOS/POST beeps(including the normal single beep). Is there any hard drive activity? Can you tell that windows is/has loaded?

As for onboard video, do you even HAVE onboard video? You say you replaced the old card... I assume both the new and old cards run the same interface?
 
I only hear one beep when I start the computer with the new card. Both the new card and old card are PCI-E. I dont know if I have onboard video.
 
I think that it could be the power supply. The card requires a 12v rail with 28amps and mine has 2 12v rails at 15 and 16 amps. Im gonna take it back tommorow and get a different one
