NEW CASE OPINION of FANS

hey im just wondering im getting a new case with 5 fans in it , should i have more fans pushing air in or out ??? there located

1. 2- on the front bottom
2. 1- on window side
3. 1- on top of case
4. 1- 120 mm on the back

i just need ur guys opinion thanks
 
I'm not 100% sure but I'd have the two in the front blowing in the case, the one on the window side blowing out, the 120mm on the back blowing out, and the one on the top blowing out. See what other people say first though.
 
I'd go for side and front in, back and top out.

The main idea is to get an airflow path throughout the case, from front to back and bottom to top. You should also do your best to balance the total airflow from the fans - that 120mm will move a lot more air than the 80mms. Don't for get your PSU will be exhausing as well :)
 
Agree with The_Beast, it's exactly how it should be done.

I have 7 in mine - 2 front sucking in, 2 side sucking in, 2 back blowing out, 1 top blowing out.

What you need to think about are filters in front of the fans sucking in. Ideally the case will have them, but if not you could do with making your own. I have to clean mine out weekly, dread to think what the state of my case would be without them.
