New Case

Hi, got some moeny now so thinking of upgrading my case, all i have currently is my crappy generic silver one, extremely box-like and only cost about £7 from ebuyer.

I dont really want to go above £100 in fact i dont really want to go anywhere near £100, but i like the look of the Aspire X Navigator series, they're cool, is ther like a cheap aternative where someone has ripped the desing off?? LOL

So ideal price around £60-£65, preferably lower, i want a decent case. Obviously ATX, i only have 2 CD drives and 1 Hard drive so im sure most cases wil surfice to that...

Any ideas, or just links to websites for cases would be great,

thanks for the site, but im in the UK, hence the GBP prices, anyone got a UK site for cases..... cheap of course
 
Oh wow, that soprano is something else, and soo cheap too. Thanks mate. And that ebuyer one is pretty disgusting, sorry

anyone else got an idea.
 
The Soprano works quite well, good cooling and evrything. The only thing I don't like about it is the door on the front is quite cheap plastic...
 
Too late chef, i ordered a soprano, its being delivered on monday bnext week, woo. total came to £58, £2 under my safe price, NICE. Thanks everyone.

Oh and going by the reviews ive seen on it, the plastic front is very well built and puts others to shame. I think it was a good catch at just £58. Comes with 2 x 120mm fans and 1 x 80mm fan, all tool-less drive bays and everything, coupled with a 500w PSU, not sure of any voltage on the rails yet but im pretty sure it'll be better than my +12v @ 18A that ive got at the moment, considering its coming from thermaltake, you like to think that they couple their products with something decent.....Well, i hope.

Oh and yeah,the front case lock sucks like that metaphor about the garden hose and the golf ball,so expect one day,to hear a bang as you lock or unlock it,thats the lock falling off lol :D
 
Lol, has the lock fallen off with you yet then?? And i got the black version, ive always wanted ablack case, but after i bought silver drives that kinda stopped, but as you probably know this casehas the door on it so it doesnt matter what colour they are.

black rocks in cases. Yeh, any input then, seeing as you have one, good features/bad etc....

Yeah the lock has come off around 5 times now,but im over it,it's a fantastic case with very good airflow,keeps away the nasty heat.The instruction book looks like it has been written by monkeys smoking dope though lol
:D.Oh yes,its really easy to open up,takes only a couple of seconds,unlike many other cases around.So yeah,its a good choice dragon.
 
Lol, yeh all instruction booklets that come from Tt are in broken english. It was the same when i got my Tt Rocket Water Cooling. Do you just glue the lock back into place then or is it dead when it comes off. I liked the whole thing about good airflow, its supposed to eb very quiet aswell, at 0.8mm steel chassis. We'll see.
