New Case!

Well, on my current Coolermaster Ammo 533 the extra 5.25" drive bay covers have snapped, leaving a big gaping hole into my PC. So, finally I collected the money to buy a new case. This one in particular caught my eye, so I bought it.

I love the green/black combination, and the fan over where the GPU goes will help cool my X1900 better than the stock fan alone. I also bought some fans, 3 80mm Green LED fans (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811998102), 1 120MM Green LED fan (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811998122), and a green Cold Cathode (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16800888072).... so my case is going to look very sweet when it's all lit up.

Also since my current PSU isn't modular, has no wire sleeves, and has a giant blue LED fan, I bought a nice new PSU as well:

I can't wait to get it all :D:D

Nice, the green/black theme is gonna look great! Too bad it uses 80mm fans, if it was all 120s it'd be even better. :D

It only has 1 120mm in the front, but I think the 3 80's will do a fine job of cooling, my house has central AC so it's not like it gets blazing hot inside.

Sweet case man. I agree with you on how narly your case will look once you light it all up. You should nickname your computer "Reptile" off of Mortal Kombat, with all the green and black :D

lol thats a good idea. Its so hard to find a good case without it being either boring or over-the-top. Most cases are just 1000 different variations of the same case, I like to see a nice color combination (black/blue, black/red, black/green), and have it look really clean, not too messy or bulky.

i have the same case (except black/silver with blue lights) and i have a couple recommendations:

the arm that holds the 80mm fan over the gfx card, get rid of it and drill some holes in the plexi for the fan (careful not to crack it!) (if you want cut out the plexi thats over the fan all together, it barely lets any air through, but it looks like crap without it, and i'm too lazy to find the proper tool to cut the rest of the plexi. also take the grille off of the front of the 120mm fan. it may look better with it but it KILLS airflow. i'm also glad you got new fans, the ones it came with were terribly loud, but they move alot of air. i'd also rub the letters off of the door, looks better without.

you will love the fold-down sides on it! very useful, good case for the money.
