The 9800 GT is the exact same card as the 8800 GT. You would be a fool for buying that card.

9800 GT
Manufacturer: nVidia
Series: GeForce 9
GPU: G92
Interface: PCI-E 2.0 x16
Core Clock: 600 MHz
Shader Clock: 1500 MHz
Memory Clock: 900 MHz (1800 DDR)
Memory Bandwidth: 57.6 GB/sec
FLOPS: 336 GFLOPS
Pixel Fill Rate: 9600 MPixels/sec
Texture Fill Rate: 33600 MTexels/sec

8800 GT
Manufacturer: nVidia
Series: GeForce 8
GPU: G92
Interface: PCI-E 2.0 x16
Core Clock: 600 MHz
Shader Clock: 1500 MHz
Memory Clock: 900 MHz (1800 DDR)
Memory Bandwidth: 57.6 GB/sec
FLOPS: 336 GFLOPS
Pixel Fill Rate: 9600 MPixels/sec
Texture Fill Rate: 33600 MTexels/sec

This information is from GPUreview, as you can see they are the exact same card when it comes to the hardware. The only difference is the BIOS. The newer BIOS only improves performance a few FPS(under 3 FPS the benchmarks I've seen). There really is not much difference between them, you would never be able to see the difference.

Yeah, I would recommend the 8800GT. If not, 9800GTX+. And I actually wouldn't recommend either processor. Try the Q6600. 2.66GHz is $320, 2.4GHz is $190. An aftermarket fan is $50, overclock the Q6600 to like 2.8GHz and you still end up saving $80, even with the fan. You can put that towards a 4870 or GTX 260/280 if you want to keep in your budget.

Cool thanks a ton guys i will definatly look into the 9800 if i can get somehting just as good for less then i will once again i just sorta copyied stuff from the blackbird

Lol no, don't get the 9800GT. It is exactly the same as the 8800GT, only it's about $40 more. I would look into the ATI 4870 or the GTX 260. And seriously consider the Q6600. An overclocked Q6600 with an after market cooler is better and cheaper than the 9550.

He is right about the GTX 260 and the Q6600, they are great....I was just keeping the prices down for ya.

A 4850 would be more than good enough for you, plus it's one of the best performers for the price. It will max out just about any game currently out there. If you want your rig to last a little longer and/or can shell out the money, go 4870.

XD guess i suck at reading lol i could'nt understand which one you were telling me to get lol so good thing we got that strait. Also no one has said anything about the Motherboard unless i really do suck at reading Or is the one i have posted good enough?

That motherboard looks good. Keep in mind though that it is an SLI mobo. Although the 4870 is a very good card for the price, you won't be able to put two of them on that motherboard. Although it's sometimes better to have a good single card than two average cards, just something to think about.
