If you go with that pre-built (which I don't suggest, there's nothing like making your own computer), you'll want to change a couple things. I'd go with a 3000 proc, socket 939 (for better upgradability), and change the video card if you want to do much of any gaming.

Wow...that's definetly the cheapest A64 I've seen. That's not a bad dal at all, though, as josh mentioned, going with the 939 socket would be better. Though, if you have no plans to ever upgrade, I suppose 754 would be fine.

the 939s would definitally be better, but i dont think u'll find one for under 500usd , all the 754s systems im finding are just over the 500usd limit, and have a 64 +3000 or the +2800, and whats the cheapest proc thats a s939 +3200?

yea, i also would prefer to build my own, but you CANT build a GOOD system for 500, with the pre-builts / barebones , you can probaly afford/get better parts for the buck
