hey Im 16 and I desperately need a computer/laptop and was hoping if anyone had an old one they didnt want if maybe I could have it. I just need something to go upstairs into my room and can connect to the internet....

i have a Abit Siluro GeForce 4 M400 64Mb Video Card, a Memorex DVD-ROM (duno wot speed) and a 15GB Hard drive, also i think i have my old motherboard still, its an old ABIT one with a 750Mhz processor, sorry i dont have much stuff

basically, I have a dell downstairs with a cable modem with router

ok, u gonna hook it up to the router downstairs? if so i suggest u consider a wireless router, it saves u muckin around with wires and stuff

yea I know but we can run a cable through the wall anyways because the computer is backed up against a wall and my room is right above the comp

I think I found a really good laptop on compusa and I think I am getting it but first I have to get a job
