new computer acting funny

it wont let me change the color quality, which is set to 4 bit and 640x480 is my resolution. no matter what i try to do it wont change. i reinstalled my display drivers and restarted and its still stuck at this configuration. :'(
 
please someone help me fix my computer. this is driving me NUTS! i even tried system restore and it didnt work either >.>

someone has to at least have some ideas on what i can do. thanx in advance if anyone has any ideas ^_^
 
I would say your going to have to take it back to where you got it and make them fix it. It's an Emachine right?

Looking at what specs you listed, did you go to the emachines website and download the newest drivers for you system?

Try searching around on their support page for your problem.

I would suggest you using the live chat option, they can take control of your pc and look around for the problem.
