New computer advice

I don't know much about computers so I wanted to get some advice before buying a new one.

I want a computer that is good for gaming but is reasonably priced. I am not sure which brand is best or anything else, and would like some suggestions.

Most people here are going to tell you to build your own. Name brand PCs just don't cut it Give us a price range and location and we can help pick parts or recommend pre-built systems.

Ah, but as with most things 20% of the effort (in this case, price) will give you 80% of the result. So, you'd need to see how much you really want to spend on the equipment.
