New Computer advice

In about a month I will be getting a job making 3 times the money I am making now and will finally be able to build a good computer. The only game I currently play is Vanguard but going to be playing SWTOR when it comes out and I would like to be able to play on high setting, maybe not max but definately high settings.

I will be getting a monitor before the build so I wont need that and already have keyboard and mouse. Will want to upgrade to windows 7, and everything else for that matter. I do have 2 74gig velociraptors I could put in raid but they are several years old and still not sure if I want to upgrade or just add a storage drive.

So I guess as far as MB, RAM, CPU, PSU, GPU, and case what should I be looking at? I've been hearing alot about the sandy bridge but I have never put together any intel system. I dont really have a specific budget but maybe around 1500ish for these items I mentioned in this paragraph. If you could include at least a 100gb ssd in the price that would be great.

Oh and as far as noise, I would like for it to be fairly quiet while being able to cool enough to overclock some. I'm not going to try and push it to the max or anything. So if I can hear it at night at 5 feet away that is fine with me. Also I've always like the Antec 902 v3 but anything better I would like to hear suggestions, but I don't want a full tower.

I'd definitely wait for the socket 1155 components to reappear since they are significantly faster than anything else in their price range. Since you're looking ahead to a better job and earnings then waiting a bit shouldn't be an issue. Now's the time to research and determine your case, PSU, storage, and GPU. I'd be looking at large high quality cases that could last 2-3 future builds, Best quality modular PSU 850-1000w to accommodate future multi GPU setups, SATA III SSD + large mechanical storage drive, and a powerful single GPU such as 570/580 or 6870/6970 which would afford the option to X-Fire/SLI later down the road.
 
So should I go ahead and get the PSU, and GPU once I do get the money to help my performance? Then when the 1155 is good to go get the rest?
 
well intel say they will have the cougar chipset fixed and back out to the market by the end of feb...so Id just hang on if I were you
