$1875 for that? And you priced it at newegg? That seems very high.

I just priced a system for another person on the forums, and it was only $1500 and was a much better system than the one you picked, at least I think it is.

EDIT: Oh wait, I see now (duh) that you picked the 6700 cpu, that drives the price up quite a bit. Also that x38 motherboard. Thats a big difference.

But I don't like that case and power supply for such a monster of a system you are going to build. You need to at least replace that PSU.

Don't get the Q6700, it's the biggest rip off ever. The increase in clock speed does NOT justify the $200+ price increase. Get the Q6600 and your wallet will be thanking you.

And I think the x38 boards are way to expensive as well, but I didn't want to crash his selection.

The p35 boards are excellent choices right now.

i priced it with that cpu because the 45nm chip with 2.88ghz and 12mb l2 cach is going to be the same price at that, also i am wanting a mobo that supports the pci 2.0

ALSO tell me a good case for under 100$ i would love to have a full tower for cooling needs, but can settle for a mid if i must, also i had just recently priced a 1000watt psu that should be gods plenty, and another thing is do i really need the "fancy box" version of vista, tell me the difference between that and the OEM version, other than the only install on one pc at a time deal
