New Computer Games

lol, sorry about the date mixup, you lot do eerything backwards, lol jk. Anyway, its not single player like HL2 or FEAR, if you want an unreal tournament like that then you need to go and buy Unreal II:The Awakening, that is soo awesome its beyond words, lol. No, UT2007 will be single player BOT matches, as in Counterstrike Condition Zero (single player) style, and of course the other UT's.... original, 2004, 2003 etc....

Damn i love UT, i bet you guessed that though, dragon2309 :D

whatever the latest is at the time of release wuld always be a good choice, but im pretty certain that any of the 7800 range will play it flawlessly on good settings, perhaps the 6800 range might scrape it on low, but dont risk it. UT2007 is set to be the most graphically enhancing and challenging games of the century.

dragon2309 :D

BTW i have 2 6800GS.....

lol, that should cope fine although by october this year it might be laggin behind a bit, perhaps you should upgrade nearer the time, you never know how gfx cards will prgress..... sorry, i should have looked at your sig before. damn SLI, nice.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent

UT2007 (I've always loved the UT series, played every UT game so far)

1944 D-Day: Operation Overlord (Most excited to get my hands on this piece of art)

Project Offset (Mostly because of it's awesome engine)

1.)The new Starcraft (not sure when it's going to debut)

2.)The next Half-Life

3.)I heard Spore was going to be awesome

4.)New WoW game

as in next half life..half life 3 or you mean the expansion Half Life: Episode One(Aftermath)
b/c they probably won have HL3 until a long time.
also starcraft 2 is like 7 years away... thats what blizzard says anyways.

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is gonna kick. I already preordered the Collectors Edition for PC. Dunno if my computer can run it at full though :( Ah well, it'll still look great.

Well it is gonna be another good year for computer gaming :). Tomb Raider Legends is at the top of my list.

Tomb Raider Legend

Prey

Timeshift

The Battle For Middle Earth 2 (demo is great)

And many more.

Edit:

Oh yea Splinter Cell Double Agent deserves a mention (love the series).

Yes I'm really hoping to hear that Unreal 3 will be out using the new engine.

Yes but one thing all Unreal engines have had going for them is that they have been able to pull off amazing graphics with lower hardware specs. I'm hoping it remains the same.

Do u mean that it has single player campaigns like hl2, quake 4 or fear??

i have UT2003, and it doesn't have single player campaign, but u can play single player against cpu instead of human, like the mutliplayer, but thats gets boring after 5min of playing,

I mean by single player is a game that have a good storyline and have good obejectives, just like quake 4 and FEAR.

Yea but that is what Unreal is for. Unreal 1 & 2 and hopefully now 3.

Although I feel that they are all pretty good nothing beats the first couple. I loved the very first Tomb Raider on the Playstation and then each one after held some disappointment for me. The Tomb Raider Legends however looks amazing and I'm sure it won't disappoint. I've watched allot of Video footage and I'm pumped for the release :).

i think they haven't release the official System req's for UT 2007, anyway ur system will play it on high setting, if not max, because u have X1900xt

why is starcraft 2 so far away... you alrdy see some characters in the game the frozen throne... blizzard really pisses me off in that they cant get a game up in atleast a decade from the first

Stalker: Shadow of chernobyl

I actually got the chance to play a leaked alpha version of this about 1/2 years ago at my friends. And I've heard that a new version is out, with multiplayer.

Minimum Requirements
CPU: 2.8Ghz
RAM: 512MB
Graphics: Geforce 6 series

Recommended System
CPU: 3-4Ghz
RAM: 1024MB
Graphics: NVIDIA 6800GT/Ultra or 7800GT/GTX SLI

UT2007 Technical features and requirements
* Dual-core CPU: Multi-threading is supported and should provide much better performance
* 64-bit version to be available with better textures
* Renderers: SM3.0, 2.0, possible DX8 renderer

And if thats true then my Dual Core + Dual Gpu will run it flawlessly to the max!!
