new computer... lags?

Hi all
bought a new desktop today.
Everything is new except my dvd rom and 2 HDD.
Somehow msn lags a bit.. especially when everyone messages me at the same time. and msn freezes up to 5 seconds.
Any idea why?

and I reinstalled windows on a different directory.. so a lot of old files still exist.


Internet is kinda slow too!... not sure if it's got to do with the same prob

Its your internet, not your computer

Mine does it too everynow and then

Download Messenger Plus! and enable the Tabs function.

Its stopped the problem for me

Also, just to be sure, do i Complete Virus Scan
 
List the complete Specs of of your computer (GPU,RAM,CPU,ETC...) well not complete just main things like listen in the brackets ^^^^^^^ :P

a couple of ppl suggested me getting a new HDD so it's more compatible? not sure..
